  With motors and salt water the little things matter. They were dangerously careless not using a stainless washer mounting the motor. I had these people replace an old outboard on my sailboat with a new Honda 8 4 stroke - pretty big job - new wiring, new controls etc. It's been two years and I noticed not long ago that a top bolt - one of four 4 bolts that hold on the new beefier motor mount plate to the transom, was starting to pull out. We dont get out that much but today I am glad I checked an hour out to sea and saw that the nut that was used to tighten the mount to the bolt that went through the transom - had PULLED THROUGH the transom. After getting home I looked inside and clearly the washer between the nut and hull had rusted off - not stainless. If that motor had come off I cant imagine the damage with all the wiring, etc through to the batteries. One photo shows the inside and the rust on the hull and the end of the bolt still there - the other show the nut has pulled through the hull!!
